1. Overview

JMQBrowser is a graphical tool to browse IBM MQ Series queue managers, queues and messages.
With JMQBrowser you

• have an overview about your MQ Series configuration of queue managers and queues.
• can inspect the attributes of your queue managers and queues.
• have an overview of the current messages in your queues.
• can display message header attributes and message contents either as ASCII, Hex, or EBCDIC.
• edit message attributes and the contents of existing messages with a message editor. *
• put a new message in a queue. *
• delete messages from queues. *
• cut/copy/paste messages between different queues, even between queue managers. *
• import/export your configuration of queue managers and queues from/to an editable XML file. *
• import/export the contents of multiple messages from/to a dedicated directory in the file system. *
• show the IBM MQ Series constants.

JMQBrowser is an ideal tool for developers of MQ Series applications and MQ Series administrators.

The tool is completely written in Java and is built upon the MQ Series Java API from IBM.
